Electrician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs Inspections (Visual/Thermal) and routine preventative maintenance activities of various components of the Plant electrical systems.
• Performs installations of equipment and service where needed.
• Provides electrical code guidance during new installations or renovations. Responsible for sizing and selection of material to be used in these activities.
• Performs testing on new and existing equipment to ensure proper function prior to start up.
• Familiar with and follows all written guidance, and codes as it pertains to electrical codes, OSHA requirements, Works with Safety as the first priority as it pertains to self and co-workers.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate Degree in Electrical Maintenance, preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong working knowledge of plant electrical systems required.
