Position Details:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to lead Login & Registration features at Grainger. This role directly impacts the success of our business and the satisfaction of our users. The ideal candidate will have a track record of solving complex problems, driving innovation, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment. You will be reporting to the Director, Product Management and will be based in Chicago, IL (Merchandise Mart).

You Will:

  1. Drive the strategy, development, and optimization of Login &Registration features, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs while continuously pushing for innovation and enhanced user experiences.
  2. Conduct user research, analyze data, and gather feedback to identify opportunities in login and registration flows. Develop and execute solutions prioritizing customer satisfaction, security, and conversion optimization.
  3. Collaborate with user experience and engineering partners to build and execute a product roadmap that creates tangible value for customers quickly.
  4. Connect key success metrics to the value delivered. Help stakeholders meaningfully understand progress and how this work affects them.
  5. Build a deep understanding of the Login & Registration domain and how it fits into Grainger's technology and operational landscape. Identify opportunities to deliver systemic solutions via partnering with other products in Grainger.com, offline channels, and order fulfilment domains.

You Have:

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  2. Proven 2-4 years of experience as a Product Manager or similar role, preferably but not necessarily with a focus on eCommerce platforms, Login & Registration flows, or user identity management.
  3. Strong understanding of user experience principles and data-driven decision-making.
  4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and requirements to cross-functional teams.
  5. Technical proficiency, with understanding of web development technologies and frameworks.
  6. Experience with agile development methodologies.
  7. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive informed product decisions.
